Our Story

In high school, I took an AP English class and met the most beautiful souls. We spent hours throughout the year reading great novels and of course, each other's masterpieces.

As I grew older, the dream of becoming an author faded and the gatekeepers of the industry reminded me of those in Hollywood. Being a starving author was not something I wanted to pursue.

Fastforward to when my brother finished a manuscript. A brilliant, unique manuscript for the first book in a series. He worked with a get-published-quick scheme company who wanted to exploit a lot of his personal story to sell pity rather than the amazing world he created.

Instead of going with traditional publishing, we found the path with self publishing was right for him! This is what I want for other people. Authors to feel empowered, story tellers to have their books in print, the unheard to be heard.

The current publishing system is broken and with new technology we all have a chance to be part of the new world of print on demand. Where we can create versus duplicate, and new content isn't printed in bulk sitting in a warehouse but generated when requested.

My goal is to help the silenced - regardless of whether it is due to color, sexual orientation, self-identity, religion/spirituality - to get raw, original stories into the world.
